The Heirloom Seed Library is located in Long Beach, California and dedicated to providing access to heirloom seed and information on seed selection and seed saving.

We offer heirloom and open-pollinated seed to our members and the public. Our patrons borrow seed that they grow while letting some flower and set seed which they return to our library.

Long Beach Grows also teaches classes in seed selection, seed starting, and seed saving.

We have more than 850 varieties of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds to choose from, one of the largest collections in Southern California.
